One or two bits are a bit silly, but it certainly makes you think. Conspiracy theorists will love it and to be honest I think there's a lot of truth in it. I started watching it thinking I'd skip through it but I must admit it had me for 2 hours!

What do you think?

ive seen it at the zeitgeist site and tried to get people to watch it, i gave up - people dont like thinking.

Its a shame it doesnt start with the god/stars thing. The start will put people off watching it - which is a shame.

PLEASE WATCH IT _ fast forward to 13:40 minutes in though.

Mainly what I was thinking when I watched it was 'What a load of old bks'.

Which bit did you particularly think was bks?

The bit saying Christ probably didn't exist? The bit saying that Governments enter wars without the blessing of the public? or maybe the bit that says that the leader of pakistan funded the 911 hijackers?

Thinking != watching a movie for a few hours then going "DAMMIT, YOU'RE RIGHT!"

Sources cited are dubious at best.

Edit:

You needed a film to realise this?

Unlucky.

If others did find it interesting, then the 12th Planet by Zecharia Sitchin is worth a read.

PS. Where is the read 'Books' area of PH? or is that too nerd

No, I didnt, but many people arn't sure. Also I though Part I was very interesting. I didn't know how many Christ type figures there were in history and how long they've been around (3000bc) and that there were so many coincidental circumstances surrounding them.

That said I new what the ending to Pearl Harbour-The Movie was and I still watched that.

It didn't just say that though. It draws a lot of dubious, often unsupported, connections to support it's pre conceived theories. The big points it tries to make are generally apparent to anyone with half a brain anyway. The bks is in the details.

Sounds like some confirmation bias to me. Typical of conspiracy theorists.

banghead It wouldnt have been such a secret if all the information was readily available.

We recently went to war with much less credible evidence.
And weve been through enough wars for the common man to be ignorant except to what hes taught in the controlled schools/media. No family history to pass on the tales, just war orphans.

So over at least 2000 years, concidering the power of the church and others, and their ability to have controlled/destroyed any information or artifacts about the history of our race - would be tempting if not simple.

Have a read teacher of Media Control by Chomsky, or What Uncle Sam really wants, its clear the methods have been used for thousands of years.

Anything that provokes thought outside your conditioned little box has got to be a good thing yes?

Really? Unfortunately it seems to have worked with An Inconvenient Truth.
