Got the DVD and watched it the other night but what a disappointment, not a patch on Blue Harvest which had me crying with laughter over several viewings.

This one barely got a titter out of me although the kids loved it but now I'm in trouble because of the bad langauge. laugh

This one will now gather dust on the shelf unless I get my act together and flog it on eBay.

Shame, it's as if the writers just were not bothered.

I will have to agree, whilst watching I was thinking 'Shouldn't this be funnier?' because Blue Harvest was genuinely hilarious and this was barely chuckleworthy.

Not for a 15....there's only a few at most. No reason why a decent kid should see it...rather my kids know those words are out there and can be funny in context. If my kids ever F'd in front of me they'd get a thick ear (same as me at 36 with my folks!) But you cant deny a 6 year old the joy of Die Hard over a little Yippie Kya Aye!

However....some 15's are shocking - not stop bad language completely devoid of context or humour....i draw the line at that!

Recently let my 9 year old watch Hurt Locker (which he loved and gave an insight to what he sees on the news with regards IEDs/Iraqi/etc) yet i couldnt let him watch Observe and Report....it was disgusting! (yet funny!)

I bought this on Blu Ray off eBay the other day and watched it this afternoon. Quite disappointed.

There wasn't really any funny bits in it and I can't understand why they had the chicken in it and Peter didn't fight it. Meg was (almost) non-existant and Quagmire had about 2 lines, both of which weren't funny. Joe wasn't really in it either apart from a non-speaking 5 seconds at the start, and Lois didn't have much to say.

It felt rushed.

I think my copy will be going back on eBay shortly.
