On Five now.

Carspottingtastic!

Forget all the Granadas, the Shadow and the E-type, so many other cars, even caught a glimpse of a Monteverdi 375 in silver.

White Marcos, an SM, an Eclat, plus lots of weird and wonderful bread & butter cars that are now long gone, Husky van anyone?

What was the brown full size yank convertible that was parked up in front of the blue Shadow? Pontiac GTO or Caddy? It had stacked headlights.

Blimey, it's the John Wayne season on 5, it's the (could say US version of Brannigan for 70s car spotters) McQ is on right now.

Great film. My mum has always been a big John Wayne fan so seen a few of his films over the years. This is definitely a good one.

My favourite will always be The Quiet Man though smile

Never cared for John Wayne - especially when in WW2 he never set foot outside the US and some of his contemporaries actually fought on the front line e.g. Jimmy Stewart and Clark Gable.

He also supplied lists and names to the McCarthy investigations into "Un-American Activities".
