Relocation, Relocation Wednesday 20 January

Channel 4

You have to wonder about people like the couple Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are helping in this first episode of the new series of the property-hunting show.
Inyang and Gregor Ross want to move to Cornwall to start their own bistro. Fair enough, you might think; that sounds very exciting. Except that neither of them has ever even visited Cornwall, and Gregor, who is keen to chuck in his job in IT to be head chef, has never worked in a kitchen before.
They are looking at a hamstring-popping leap into the unknown, fuelled by dreams of close communities, glorious beaches and quality family-time.
Preview discs were unavailable as we went to press, but it's not hard to imagine the pursed lips and snippy asides from Spencer and Allsopp as they go overboard with the mock exasperation - particularly as the Rosses have sold their three-storey Glasgow home and are within three weeks of having no fixed abode.
Always good for a laugh, this first episode looks promising.........
