:snigger: I actually wouldn't buy something from them, purely because of the advert.
Same here.I know professional marketing people go on about how even bad advertising is good advertising... but to most reasonably intelligent people it must have the opposite effect...
Places where the adverts have driven me away -
Morrisons where possible after that christmas advert with Richard Hammond talking like he had a speech impediment played over and over again.
Elephant car insurance, don't care how cheap it is, will never use them after those irritating "ELEPHANT DOT CO DOT UK" adverts with that
repeating the phrase over, and over again.Go compare - goes without saying...
Compare the market - will never use that website irrespective of any deals I may miss
webuyanycar - was interested in potentially using them until I saw their TV ad, now wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. I get enough of that type of music blaring out of chavmobiles with young asian stereotypes within.
Just a short selection - one man is not exactly a huge loss, but it must have some impact as it seems I am not alone...
The guy behind the counter, with the beard, 3 seconds in, is the same guy who does the KFC "chef" advert. Where KFC try and convince us that its 5 Star dining they offer. "Chicken on the bone - fresh in today" he says, at the end of the ad we see a tag line that says "minimum 3 deliveries a week" - WTF!
