Saw Zombieland at cinema and on plane recently - laugh out loud funny and highly recommend for sillyness. Think Shaun of the Dead with less subtle jokes. Very funny though.

Whats yours?

Wasnt sure what Dead Snow was so IMDB say: A ski vacation turns horrific for a group of medical students, as they find themselves confronted by an unimaginable menace: Nazi zombies. - Nice, thats on the list!! hahaha

"The Men Who Stare At Goats" made me laugh,

not a zombie movie but a pisstake at hairbrained militiary ideas!

Mesrine 1 & 2 - excellent French Gangster biopics
Un Prophete - brilliant prison story set in France
44 Inch Chest - Really awful brit gangster pic, avoid
Zombieland - thought I'd hate it, loved it
Lemon & Citron - Danish WW2 resistance film, very very good
The Road - bleak, bleak, bleak post apocalyptic film
Up In The Air - much better than anticipated romcom

District 9 - possibly slightly old for this thread but was very good smile

Where the wild things are - Thought this was brilliant. A really clever adaptation, fairly simple, beautifully filmed and directed and the lead kid was excellent and not annoying (unlike most children in films).

Hoping to watch The Road and Up in the Air within the next couple of weeks as both look very good and are getting decent reviews.

Moon.

Never heard of it before a mate recommended it to me. Lo-fi genius.

read reviews of the road but since having kids for some reason i'm a total wuss, is it very harrowing?

It'll be harder if you have kids, its hard work and quite upsetting & gory in places. Its worth seeing though, you'll come out and give your kid a huge hug I'd imagine!
