Forget Bond, Bourne, Bullitt... THIS is how a car chase should be done.

I think its a bollywood film, but dont know which one.

If you liked that then you will love bollywood!

Its an Indian film but not sure if it is hindi (bollywood) - there are quite a few different lagnuages in India and they all have their own strands of movies.

I have never seen horses go down like that in any 'english' movie!

It seems that there are ropes tied to the horses ankles, horses run off at full speed and then the rope runs out and the horses faceplant frown

1:39 pause it and you will see the rope tied around the horses front leg(just above its hoof)

1:49 same again for the horse closest to the camera ,same for the others just cant see the rope

cant really be bothered to watch any more of the cruel treatment but guess its pretty much the same for every other time it happens.

Its a south Indian movie, not Bollywood. South Indian market is even bigger than Bollywood, but really much less sophisticated on the whole. Yes, the old movies have a lot of this type of action.

They don't any more as its amazingly cruel and quite often ends up in the horses needing put down.

There was a programme on about this years ago focussing mainly on Westerns, but it was pretty grim to watch.

I suspect that's why most things you see made in the UK which give the impression of an animal being harmed state at the end that "No animal was harmed during the making" etc.

Its a good ludicrous chase scene but for the horses.
