Quadrophenia - The Film.

Just finished watching this again. Last time I watched this all the way through was ninty eighty something. Very far back I suspect 81/2?
This was when you just wandered into your local video shop and got anything off the shelf.

Forgot what a great (if not depressing) film it is. My friend at the time was into the MOD scene so dragged me round to watch.

When you are hormonal teenager with problems living with parents, life etc. it was quite a 'real' thing to watch.

Me and a mate watched it on TV recently, now we've both decided to become mods, and have planned a trip to the Ace Cafe in London, but in my BMW, its a bit cold for Lambrettas Such a good film!

One thing we were both wondering though, what are the "blueys" they're constantly necking? We can't work out what drug it actually is?

Weird - I watched Quadrophenia this evening, without seeing this thread. Excellent film.

The blue pills are amphetamines I believe, although I stand by to be corrected.
