Battle for Terra

Heard some good things about this and as the Nanny is sick again and I have 3 bored kids to entertain in this cold, wet, miserable country, I thought the cinema would be the best bet to keep them quiet and me entertained.
Local Cineworld has 14 screens and WTF it's only on in obscure places like Leeds and Sheffield
Who says that when you live in London everything is on your doorstep.

They showed it just the once this morning at 1030 am, and it was brilliant, loved it.
Cashier at Cineworld didn't even know that they had it on and nor did the rest of SW London it appears, as the masses were all there for the 3, already on DVD, kid's films for £1 a head.
Had the main screen all to my 3 kids and me and we all loved it, even my 10 year old, too cool for school, daughter really enjoyed it. I told them that I had booked the whole cinema just for them
The story is very similar to Avatar and a beautifully rendered and imaginatively styled planet is wonderfully depicted in 3D, making full use of the medium's ability to show depth in some breathtaking scenes.
A great film for the kids and the grownups and it even brought a tear to my rheumy old eyes.
It would be a shame for this film to quickly disappear and end up on DVD without many people having seen it on the big screen in 3D. I had to really search to find it and even at our London local, it was only on at 1030 am today and another showing at the same time tomorrow.
Catch it if you can and I look forward to the posts both for and against it.
Cheers.
