Ok bear with me here, you know what its like when there is a film you like, that you have watched a few times. You still enjoy it but it loses something when you know whats coming.

Which film would you like all memory of erased so you could watch it as if it were the first time. I suppose people might chose things with a twist that once see never have the same impact, like Seven or Usual Suspects.

Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith. I don't want to see them again I just want them erased from my memory.

I agree with Se7en though. Seeing it again for the first time would be good.

Shawshank Redemption - Seeing how far he tunnelled with just a rock hammer isn't quite as astonishing second time round.

Quite a few comedys that are not as funny the 10th time round.

Airplane and Airplane 2

The Life of Brian/Holy Grail

even, There's Something About Mary

I nearly died of laughter the first time I watched those, I'd love to see them "for the first time" again.

Band of Brothers for me; although I've watched it maybe a dozen times and still love it! smile

Although I remember the first time I watched I couldn't tell the differences between/remember the names of most of the characters due to the "uniform" factor and it took a few views to work out what/who some of the scenes were about, but boy was the action good first time around! I still remember which scene it was that made me think "this is the best piece of television ever" (the scene in Market Garden when you see Luz and Perconte running/retreating from the front line and the house behind them explodes in a shell blast).

yes I only saw it recently and I did know what to expect frown but it was still a brilliant first watch.

Actually anything by M Night Shyamalan would be nice to enjoy afresh!

If I am honest, after I started the thread I wished that I could erase from my memory every film I own, I won't bother listing all 400. I only buy a film if I have seen it and liked it. I would love to see them all again as if it was the first time.

A few stick out thought:
Gladiator
Christine (when Chistine rebuilds eek)
Le Mans
Goodfellas
Snatch
Life On Mars TV series
