Discussion
Having read the fantastic thread regarding the magnificent film that is Predator, I thought I would open a discussion about another film which is getting a reboot in the not to distant future, Aliens.
Up there with Predator for most quotable film and my personal favourite from the series. What you think?
One of the best quotes has to be Hudson.. "How do I get out of this chicken s
t outfi!"

One of the best quotes has to be Hudson.. "How do I get out of this chicken s
t outfi!"Hudson had the best lines but the movie is great, here's some more from my tired old memory:
Ripley: ...this little girl survived 6 weeks
Hudson: Well why don't you put her in charge then....
Rebecca "They mostly come at nights, mostly"
Hudson "With those things running around out there, you can count me out"
Drake "Lets Rock!!!!"
Hudson: What are we going to do now man we're F&cked"
Burke: We could build a fire, sing some songs

How did the alien and predator films become aligned together?
Alien and Predator (The original 2 films are such different films)
In the 2nd Predator film, in the Predator spaceship there is a trophy room and among the skulls there is an Alien skull. Alien and Predator (The original 2 films are such different films)

Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
Vasquez: No. Have you?
Hicks: I like to keep this handy... for close encounters.
Gorman: Apone! Look... we can't have any firing in there. I, uh... I want you to collect magazines from everybody.
Hudson: Is he f
kin' crazy?
Frost: What the hell are we supposed to use man? Harsh language?
Awesome film!

An ET vs Predator vs Aliens would be awesome. (Im imagining ET's would be using dish shaped space ships, laser weapons, clinical and shiney equipment,exo-skeletons to augment their punney bodies)
It worked, you guys have cherry picked the best, althought it was Vasquez who shouted "Lets Rock!". In my humble opinion, Aliens was the better of the two, but totally different films. One action, one horror.
"Express elevator to hell, going down!"
"You always were an asshole Gorman!"
Hudson: "Vasquez have you ever been mistaken for a man?"
Vasquez: "No, have you?"

I would love to see a proper Aliens movie again...
Not AVP movies. They made good fun comic books - not so sure they made good movies. It's all a bit Frankenstein vs The Wolfman.
I'd like to see a film set after Alien 3 and before the (not so good) Alien Resurrection. With a completely different group of characters. A different encounter...perhaps with the "Space Jockeys" involved.
One can only hope.

Ripley: Lieutenant, what do those pulse rifles fire?
Gorman: 10 millimeter explosive tip caseless. Standard light armor piercing round, why?
Ripley: Well, look where your team is. They're right under the primary heat exchangers.
Gorman: So?
Ripley: So, if they fire their weapons in there, won't they rupture the cooling system?
Burke: Ho, ho, ho. Yeah, she's absolutely right.
Gorman: So? So what?
Burke: Look, this whole station is basically a big fusion reactor...
[Gorman turns back to stare, horrified, at the screen]
Burke: ...right? So you're talkin' about a thermonuclear explosion and "Adiós, muchachos."
Gorman: Oh, great. Wonderful. s
