I watched QOS for the first time last night, recorded it from SKY ages ago but only just got to watch it.

The film was OK, not the best Bond but not the worse, but the thing that imnpressed me most was the great product placement from Ford.

The movie opened with Bond in his Aston. We then saw the femme fatale in a Ford Ka, the top villain being chauffeured in a Jag XJ, Bond driving a Volvo S60 and then a Range Rover, villains and Italian police in Land Rover Defenders and more villains in a fleet of Ford Edge SUV's. At the time of filming in 2007 all of those brands were owned by Ford. They were in the process of selling Aston Martin which may explain why they allowed it to get trashed and why it was unable to shake off a common Alfa. hehe

Excellent job by the Ford people anyway. Good to see that traditions of the Sweeney and the Professionals lives on.

I saw it in the cinema, which was the first time I saw a new shape Ka. Looked good 20ft tall with a hotty driving it.

Shame about the real thing

Yes Casino Royale was pretty bad with it too and same for the Sony stuff.

There was one scene in CR where he got to the Bahamas and was driving along in the car using a mobile phone. The whole scene looked like it existed solely to plug Ford and Sony. There was no plot progression at all.
