Program start times

Noticed on the BBC recently, that some of their programs start early, tonight for example,

The one show, should start at 7 but started at 18:57. Masterchef, meant to be a 19:30 started at about 19:27 tonight, Eastenders tonight, (20:00) turn over at 1959 at it's already on.

I know i should get out more .......

I've been watching five-days this week, which was supposed to be 9pm every day on BBC1, and I've noticed the same thing.
