I like those ads
I like that advert too. It makes you remember, which is the only reason they've done it. They don't think it's funny or clever either. They just know people will remember it, talk about it on a forum, etc... Free advertising.
t though does it?There are a few current adverts that stick in my mind as being annoying as hell, and for that sin I vow never to use their services

y gocompare advert - but if people are thinking about renewing their car insurance and have that tune in their head I bet over half use it.And I imagine 50%+ of 'impulse clickers' is a hell of a result in marketing/advertising coupled with those who actually like it!!
And I used 'And' to start a sentence (twice!)

Of course it works. Most people don't view things like you, I would suggest. Most people will remember the name of the company, and regardless of the stupid advert, you may think "Oh, I've never tried there. I've always used Confused.com (which also had stupid adverts... Still does? But I bet you've used that), so I'll give it a go!"
I suppose I underestimated the power of stupidity in this instance. And no, I have never used confused.com!Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
