What I loaded onto the iTouch, an eclectic mix, but good for being on a train for an hour:

Band of Brothers
Farscape
MASH
The Sopranos
Life on Mars
Ashes to Ashes
Battlestar Gallactica
Scrubs

For that sort of trip, you want something a bit longer than the 21 minutes you get with the sit coms I would have thought. I struggle to watch more than a couple at a time.

Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are awesome though, and Entourage is a bit longer, and I can watch a few at once.

Although they've been mentioned before, my choices would be, in no particular order:

The West Wing.
24.
Prison Break, (1st series is very good.)

HBO have made some good stuff in the past, so it might be worth hitting Play.com to see what they've made that might take your fancy.

So do I, is why I tend to watch 2 in the morning, and a different series in the evening. breaks it up a bit and you don't get fed up of 30 odd episodes on the trot
