It's just the modern day Bedlam.

I refuse to watch it - I'll be recording it...........

There are few things I genuinely despise but Britain's Got Talent is one of them, the only reason it exists is to massage Simon Cowels ego.

'bout right. I thought the young skin-basher did a great job, and I bet he gave his parents a right bking afterwards.

I was lucky enough to flip the telly on just in time for that, then it got flipped over. Dog was bloody good, the show ran out of steam last year though...most likely I shall tune in to watch the odd nutter mind.

Why?

I'm sure he would have been involved in the discussions with the shows producers about how it would be good for ratings/drama to pretend that he was going to come back as a group with his parents, only to be told that he'd be better of by himself, and then ask if he's willing to audition again without them.....

I record it so I can forward wind all the garb. I can watch an act for 10 secs if I don't like skip to the next turns an hour and half show into a half hr show!

I liked the dog and the 'backwards' dancer.

(I also record it as no way hubby will watch it with me! I don't watch any other reality shows or soaps.)

What's the betting for the final line up then?

young girl singing in an operatic way
middle aged ugly person with great singing voice
a couple of dance troups (one is young kids only)
a dancing dog
a crap juggler

and finally the cute child doing something very normal, but everyone cooing over him/her

Where, despite playing ok(ish) but nowhere near as well as he did last year, he still gets through....
