How could I have missed this when it was first aired? Bettany Hughes is great!

Does anyone know if she did more programmes on her specialist subjects...?

I did not realise it went on for hours and gave up about 30mins before the end...so did not see it either as was too tired, but it was very good

I do not know when it is on again

my wife did say to me 'you're just looking at her breast aren't you?' 'No of course not my love, what makes you think that?!'

That was something like the fifth of seven (they are bundling multi-part doumentaries into single episodes, hence the length and why each one's a different length). Next week, the Athenians.

Spartans was the 4th. So far there's been Alexandria, the Minoans, Helen of Troy and the Spartans. Unsure of when they are going to be reported but they are on 4OD http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-ancient-wor...

They are always shown on the History Channel (if you can get it), from time to time, especially the Spartan and Helen of Troy episodes.
