Nothing on TV tonight, so nipped down to the local Blockbuster and did the 4 for £10 Blu-ray deal.

Bit of a mixture of stuff I haven't seen yet:

  • Law Abiding Citizen
  • Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
  • Twilight - New Moon
  • Inglorious Basterds
Will let you know what I think of them.

When the good lady wife has finished watching Britain is Talentless, Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan-Directors Cut (*probably* one of THE best Trek films ever) is loaded in the DVD player and ready to go. We were going to brave The Prisoner again but thought the better of it. Life on Mars series 2 back to back tomorrow afternoon.

Watched Superbad for the first time today. I actually cried with laughter.

Just finised watching BBC2s tribute to Malcome McLaren. Also excellent.

As I said, nothing on.

Don't like Borat, first Predator is good but seen it 101 times and 2nd one is pants, Reservoir Dogs is good too but seen that loads of times, wanted to catch up with some new films.

Watched 2nd Twilight and HP last night, both really good and I especially liked Ashley Greene in New Moon cloud9

Inglorious and Law Abiding Citizen tonight smile

twilight? harry potter? jesus christ man!

in a similar situation on friday I chose:

informant! - bloody good film, matt damon is excellent in it.
a serious man - slow, not funny, am perplexed why it got such glowing reviews
the men who stare at goats - enjoyable, but not great.
mesrine: killer instinct - decent, though could have been longer as there was a lot of story to fit in.
mesrine: public enemy no.1 - not watched yet.

Red Cliff - very good - not like the silly wire acrobatics nonsense seen in other similar films - highly recommended if you don't mind subtitles..

Nothing really, never really anything on.

So I've been watching all the episodes of Trigger Happy Tv on 4oD. Never laughed so much in my life.
