Looking at that website showsn above, this image is taken from thunderball:
I'm not sure it is silverstone- I cant picture it. I think it is a racetrack- you can just about make out grandstands in the background with adverts, and the paint could easily have been added.
Not with those trees there on the left hand side. There never has been that many trees around silverstone.

T'was definately Silverstone, I seem to remember hearing something about it being filmed there before.
Looks to me like the runway running from Club to Maggot/Becketts which is part of the Stowe circuit now.
Or maybe it's the runway from Stowe that runs (ran) all the way up to Copse. Can't remember off the top of my head if there is much in the way of elevation change on those two.
