Anyone happen to watch it?

They are doing a crime scene investigation week.

Last night was very interesting as it was to do with blood splatter analysis.

More interesting for me as 'Pete Smith', the specialist, is my uncle Pete!

He is the best in our family for stories at Christmas...

Well done uncle Pete!

Must be an interesting job (and probably stressful), I've always been fascinated by criminology and forensics, fascinates me that they can find out so much from sometimes so little. Must have been great to see your Uncle on telly smile

What does he think of Dexter? smile

Very interesting job, but you are right, stressful too. He has been involved in some high-profile cases where the pressure is on to get results very quickly with limited evidence and other parties wanting to hit the scene and spoil the forensics!

Re Dexter / CSI etc, he is pretty pleased these sort of programs have brought his interesting job to the masses BUT he always moans (tongue-in-cheek) that they make his job harder as the crims watch CSI and find out how to cover their tracks better!

I remember being on holiday with him once and someone at the hotel had tripped by the swimming pool and smashed their nose.

As they carried the poor lad away, good old Uncle Pete dragged me over to the poolside, examined the scene and started waffling on about splatter this and directional pattern that. hehe

Indeed.

"What did you do today Unc?"

"I grabbed a coffee and a cake, then picked someone's brain matter off the floor and put it in a jar".
