Pineapple Express

Hi,

This evening I was watching Pineapple Express on DVD with some friends and we noticed on numerous occasions that faintly scrolling across the screen in the background were the words 'Discover real music @ absoluteradio.co.uk'. I've had a quick search on google for anything to do with this but can't find anything. So I wondered if anyone on here has/can see the same and whether or not this is normal? And does it count as subliminal advertising?

No idea. But the film itself is great, best stoner scene from a Hollywood film. You can just tell Seth Rogen is a real pot-head.

This! I have watched Pineapple Express a few times on DVD and I have never seen what you describe

It is definitely a real DVD and not a copy, I might try it on another TV/DVD player just to make sure it isn't being caused by something else. Obviously it's not a big issue but it would be good to know how or why its there!

If you pause the DVD, does the scrolling text stop?

This might help you to work out whether it's onthe DVD or TV interference...
