Is anyone else watching this? Autopsies of a Lion and a Tiger, sounds a bit weird but fair enough - but the team seem to be 'playing' with the corpse. They've just attached a compressed air pipe to the bottom of the Lion's windpipe to recreate a Roar.

Seems a bit strange the way they're going about it. It's like kids playing with a new toy, quite disrespectful towards the animal.

Christ knows what they'll do next...

The Great White upset me a lot because of the way it died - though I was impressed by the dissection BUT they do seem to think it's all a good laugh which I don't like.

I couldn't watch a Lion and Tiger go the same way of the Shark....

Some great footage of big cats attacking stuff, the programme got better as it went on. Bit strange seeing the Lion without the skin on though. I didn't see the Shark one but they showed part of the Elephant dissection when they took the stomach out. Ugh!

I've been recording this series but have only seen the Shark one so far.

Worse things/deaths happen for religion no reason, at least here science it getting in there and giving joe public some respect for these creatures. The animals are dead, best they get put to good use helping understand the rest of their species.

After watching the shark one, so what if they laugh whilst they're performing the disection? The corpses probably stink especially once cut open so their probably making jokes to distract themselves from the stench. Also, gallows humour?

What's so harrowing about the Lion episode?
