Anyone else catch this interview with her on the London bombings? Very sad, explaining how she insisted on seeing not only the body of her daughter, but also the initial crime scene photos taken of her frown

She seemed so charming though, I'm no religious man but you can't help admire the attitude of (some) religious people in the face of adversity. My Mum even commented how comforting it can be, as her husband passed away on Monday, and was there when the Pastor was present.

I remember listening to her when she did a week of Prayer For The Day on Radio 4 a couple of years ago. I'm not a massively religious person (mainly a deep cynic) but she stuck in my mind for a few reasons. One of which was that the following Monday I had to go down to London to the funeral of my friend Jules Nicholson. Sometimes I can really do without coincidences frown
