Possibly good news for any Warhammer 40k fans. If it anything like any of the computer game trailers, should be a good lark I reckon.

Looks to have a much better cast than I was expecting, I just hope that they didn't get Goto to write the script.

Being a big old GW geek, i can confirm that the script writer is Dan Abnett. He's written many successful warhammer novels, and has a very good understnading of 40k, so it should certainly stand up script wise.

Have just found out they are making a 40k online MMO game too, this gets better, haha.

If they can recreate some of the game trailers for some of the recent games it should be epic, I just wonder if they will tame it down to get a lower certificate, hope not.

It's only 70 mins long apparently, but I hope if it is a success, they will do another and longer at that.

Good point about the certificate. Lots of young un's do the table top games. Daft thing is they will be the ones most dissapointed about lack of gore I expect. Shame a film board with no interest in it will get to decide. Mucho Ork blood please.

Did he do the Blood Angels one? (Think I might have asked that on the Sci-fi book thread actually)

I read Eisenhorn by him which I liked and read a second time a year later. Just a good book with plenty of creativity in there, while also fitting into the wh40k thing too.

If his writing works well as a film it should be good!
