I used to love listening to a radio station that used to have a Friday night call in for people with personal problems but was so long ago I cannot remember which station it was.
Are there any radio stations that still do this? Not that I want to call but I want to listen
Sure capital radio used to do this in their early days was it anna raeburn , anna & the doctor i seem to recall or something very similar Are there any radio stations that still do this? Not that I want to call but I want to listen

Capital radio was good then not like all the repeatative b
ks they trudge out these daysI am pretty sure it was Capital Radio I used to tune into. I always remember listening to a guy with a long winded problem and the punchline (which is all I can remember) was "she keeps parking her bike in my back passage" and the guy was cut off.
hehe, I will take a look at the match.com thread then Rach.

Just to jog some memories, for us in the home counties, it was 'Late Night Love' with the genius that was (and still is) Graham Torrington.
I think the show appeared on a lot of independent radio stations, simultaneously in the evenings...at least around here it did - on Q103 and Chiltern FM to name a couple. Maybe his love spread wider than that?

Way back when Capital first started (mid-seventies) there was an 'agony aunt' phone-in with 'Anna(Raeburn)and the Doctor'. She covered the emotional issues, and he dealt with physical problems. It was revolutionary and sometimes controversial at the time.
I remember the Doc dealing with a male caller, worried about the size of his tackle. His advice was that standing naked in front of a full-length mirror would give a more impressive perspective.
