V for Vendetta

[tim2100]

Just seen that V has recently started on BBC3. Awesome film.

[MartinQ]

Not seen it before. Heard it's had good reviews, so I shall watch.

Clarifying for Vendetta, thought you meant a film version of the series V , you're right though a cracking film

Sorry yes should be 'V for Vendetta' Could a Mod correct the title?

Genuinely one of the best films of the last couple of decades. The portrayal of the ghastly society and government is brilliant. And worryingly familiar.

[Sheets Tabuer]

Quite apt for the time it was made.

Ironically it was written as a comic under Thatcher, but even more appropriate as a film under Blair.

Was on last night as well.

[Funk]

Anyone else notice the mask on last nights 'The IT Crowd'?

A Genuinely great film. A REAL must watch all the way though. It held me captive from beginning to end.

I was reading up on this one tonight, bit of background of the original comic but I noticed that Wrossy really panned V for Vendetta on the BBC. Bit odd as I thought it would be right up his street.

Jonathon Ross is a cock, that's why.

[Famous Graham]

Agreed - it's an excellent film. The only shortcoming is the denouement, which is kind of obvious.

The end was a bit predictable too.
