Now I am a bit of a sucker for bad good films. You know the ones, the film is comically bad but has just that bit of warmth or heart that redeems it in some way. Or it is so comically over the top, everybody knows it and is essentially hamming it up, chewing the scenery etc. They are quite fun usually.

However I have caught the following films on telly recently...and I cannot watch them!

Quest for the Spear
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412915/

Return to King Solomons Mines
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455596/

Curse of the Judas Chalice
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1146438/

I have seen worse special effects, poorer acting, more comically bad sets, but these films just annoy the crap out of me! I don't know why, they just do.

I know they are sub-Indy, that's why I wanted to watch them. I like things like Relic Hunter, which is a cheap and cheesy knock off of Tomb Raider but in my view The Librarian films make RH look like quality TV! yikes

Has anybody else seen them? Is it that I just don't get them?

I am puzzled.

Talking of ste but funny films.

I found myself watching "Fired Up" on sky a few weeks ago. Its about cheerleaders. But for some unknown reason I was unable to stop watching.
