Oh dear.
It's gone all irritating.
Like Friends but more sickly.
I hate this show because of the presenters, who are affected, juvenile, stupid, irritating, inarticulate, hyperactive, unprofessional, discursive, untalented...It's gone all irritating.

I mean, how does that lisping, adolescent, t

t of a bloke get a job presenting? Actualy I like the presenters, I think they work well together, just look at the mess that was fifth gear when they tried to gel random presenters with no chemistry.
I know they can be a little cringe worthy and OTT, but they do need to entertain for TV and IMO they do appear to have some enthusiasm for the job and gadgets.
For me the series is let down by their lack of expertise on certain subjects and lack of depth they go into (although Jason seems to have the credentials for gaming). Then the rating system they use, IMO all ratings should be out of 100pct, not just 5, and you should see 2 different ratings, one on the gadgets ability, and then one on value for money, so you can make your own mind up if its worth the extra cash.
Oh, and the word 'Gadge', makes me cringe, sounds just like 'vage', wrong, very wrong.....

I did actually want to see the piece on Network music but couldn't stand the rest of the show.
Basically, Sonos is best but expensive, the apple setup was good from a streaming/control point of view and is cheap (other than needing to add a stereo at each end point), Logitech was pantsPants was probably a bit strong, but the main issue was the 3 test rooms going out of sync and having to skip to the next track to get them re-synced. The controllers they were using were pretty expensive but still needed to plug into a separate stereo.
They did like the touch screen and the ability to do a few things like facebook on the controller, they didn't seem to test a remote control though, only doing things from the main units.
I was actually thinking of the Logitech route for a streaming setup at home, but only because the wife won't let me buy the Sonos gear - hopefully she's now changed her mind.
ETA: You can view the test on Fives website here

Yeah, I found it myself.
It wasn't a like for like test. Standalone units from Sonos but separates from Apple and SB. SB have units called receivers like the apple ones (about £80 each) or units with built in amps/speakers. There is also an App for your iphone.
I dismissed Sonos on the price really. It is apparently easier to set up as it hosts its own server application where you really need to run Squeezeserver on a PC or NAS to get the best out of SB.
The SB does everything I need and sound quality is as good as your amp/speakers.
