I've been enjoying some good revenge films recently, Man on Fire and taken being my recent favorites. Watched memento recently but gave up half an hour in... Not enough action.

Whats everyone backing?

Baise-Moi is not too bad if you can look past the large amount of nudity and sex.

Why would he want to do that? More reason to watch it a second time!

Taken?

Also, although not a film, I think Spartacus Blood and Sand must rank high up there with the best of them, for fists punching the air in gratitude when the right people get their just desserts....

Another vote for Taken.

Genius line from Liam Neeson:

"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."

If I'd have kidnapped his daughter, I'd have definitely handed her back after that speech paperbag

Exactly...having thought it through, I'd like to arrange for your daughter to be returned at your convenience...

Payback was my first thought, seen it several times and always enjoy Gibson's attitude in this film.

Man on Fire would pip it, if it wasn't for Dakota(squeaky)Fanny.
