There was a good documentary on BBC4 a few weeks back on the same subject, that was quite interesting.

I found this film last night on Sky Anytime and thoroughly enjoyed it.

For those that know nothing about it, it's set in Fords Dagenham plant in 1969/70 when the country was experiencing strikes at a phenomenal level. Dagenham at that time employed 55,0000 men, but only 187 women and the film is about the women's campaign for equality.

It's well acted and there are plenty of classic cars, with feisty women in hot pants and miniskirts.

An interesting insight into the politics of the time, with Miranda Richardson playing a splendid part as Barbara Castle.

Well worth watching

I thought it captured the feeling of the time exceptionally well.

it is a good film but there are continuity errors like the stock production footage (from Ford) shows the production of the mk1 Cortina but they were made from 1963 to 1966
