Dont now if anyone remebers this from many years ago, but 'Ed' is coming to UK TV again, this time on CBS drama chanel (sky 149), 2pm and 5pm each day from 1st Oct. Starting with the pilot, if you have never watched this show, I urge you to give it a go! It's really addictive, funny, proper feelgood tv, and due to copyright issues regarding the (excelent) soundtrack, it seems it will never be coming out on DVD officially.
So set your sky +' but be warned, it is 4 series in all, about 90 odd espisodes (although I dont know if this is just 1st series on CBS drama) and once recorded you will sit for hours watcing it one after the other!
A proper gem from accross the pond, a true rare treat! Watch it!

It's a NY Lawyer who gets canned from his job for putting a comma in the wrong place on a contract, gets thrown out, goes home to his Appt to find his missus banging "a" mailman!
So he leves his missus and jet set life and returns to his High School town to rekindle his youth and tries to shack up with the hot chearleader fantasy from his schooldays, played by Julie Bowen.
Tom Cavahagh is Ed. It has a great cast, and some very well developed characters, and is just excellent once you get into it. And watch out for the "10 bucks bets" between Ed and his Dctor friend, Mike! Some fo them are real funny!
But it is it's rarity on UK TV and the fact that it will never come out on DVD that makes it one you should Sky + for sure. One fo the best US shows ever made IMO, great TV.
The first series is a bit "grainy" picture wise, but it becomes more polished in later series.
BTW, the soundtrack issues relate to some very big names doing music for the show (from the Sony catalogue) and not allowing CBS or ABC to release the show with Foo fighters music on etc.

Catching up on it now for this week on Sky +. It's difficult to explain why, but it is so addictive, we're watching the week just back to back.
Love the "10 bucks bets" and it is just funny and sort of "nice" to watch. And Julie Bowen is always worth a watch!!

Anyway, it is available as a bootleg, but the quality is poor and the series is all mixed up by all accounts.
Anyway, I have been watching it all week and even though I watched it before, it is still a bit addictive!
