NCIS season 8

Just noticed that the FXUK website states NCIS season 8 will start showing in October (no specific date yet).

Having managed to piece together enough clips from sources to watch the first episode I have to admit it looks to be another good run! Although sadly I don't think any season starter will top the first episode of season 7.

Anyone else REALLY looking forward to this or is it just me? XD

There was something in the sky magazine about the new season, i think its the 18th October IIRC.


ETA It starts on Friday 22nd October according to the FX website.

I find NCIS to be a massive cheesy, unrealistic, steaming pile of dung.

And I frikkin' love it!

GF and I did a massive catch-up a couple of months ago and watched series 1-7 back to back over a few weeks.

It's odd, unlike CSI when they do those pseudo-science/computer bits I dont find myself shouting at the TV proclaiming what a bunch of horse poo it is. Possibly because it's ever so slightly (only slightly though) more believable that CSI, possibly because the show has a bit more in the way of plot lines, humour and stronger characters to keep my interest.

Either way, looking forward to watching this!

The US are currently on Season 8 episode 16.

Looks like it has been picked up for season 9, which I assume will start to show in the US in September when most of the main shows start their new seasons.

At the moment it's the no1 in the US and really pulling in BIG viewing number often in the 21 to 22 million viewer mark. It's making NCIS:LA look a bit lame in comparison, although 16 to 18 million isn't bad.

A good episode here tonight, probably a bit behind as we are only on terrestrial.

A shame that they seem to be branching out; it's not been good for CSI.
