The Edward Woodward 1980s series looks like it's going to be remade as a movie with Russell Crowe named as a potential lead.

Hollywood again with no fresh ideas but at least it's a TV series it's based on and not another film remake.

Let's hope he drives a Jag! Pity Edward Woodward isn't around to cameo in it. I have the first season on DVD which I sometimes dig out for some 80'sness.

Hope they keep the intro music too - it was superb. Stewart Copeland IIRC.

Russell Crowe cannot compare to Woodward. A shame he is being wedged into another wrong update.
