"According to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, workers in the adult film industry are 10 times more likely to be infected with a sexually-transmitted infection than members of the general public."

No. Really?

Well, bugger me. So to speak.

The testing scenario works well to be honest, if of course the performers aren’t engaged in high risk sexual activity outside the studio. No doubt the performer who has recently been diagnosed with HIV will have had a recent sexual encounter in which he now wishes he had either not participated or had used appropriate protection.

Must be bad being a porn actor/actress and finding out you're HIV positive.

Not only has your life been inevitably shortened - possibly by a large margin - but your livelihood has just been taken away as well.

Poor buggerers.

Sorry. I had to.

30 days for a HIV test??? IIRC HIV can take up to 6 months to become detectable.
