I'll start you off with the guy trapped in the furnace in Saw 2, and the diver trying to fight his way back out of the shark's mouth in Jaws 3.

Over to you...

Last time this was brought up someone posted a link to a scene in an old movie to do with the Japanese torturing the Chinese (or vice-versa). De-sleeving I believe is the term and I made the mistake of watching it.

Just thought of another one: the scene in The Bone Collector where the woman is scalded to death in front of the steam pipe. Horrible.

The moment the nice music stops and then the sound of tanks approaching in the distance in Saving Private Ryan.

Several bits from paranormal activity, flour on the floor scene, ouija board bit, the bird getting possessed, having jet black eyes and staring at the bloke for hours.

The old woman being in the elevator in Devil

Johnny got his gun. The whole freaking film! If you haven't heard about it, do some googling watch some clips, and tell me it doesn't stir something inside you.

Awesome movie.

Saving Private Ryan.

The German slowly and gleefully pushing the knife into the Yank soldier.

This, without doubt the most harrowing scene ever filmed.

10 minutes, camera doesn't cut once, just total head melting stuff.

The scene at the start with the fire extinguisher is pretty bad too.

The 2nd twist in Old Boy, with the hypnotherapist. I wont spoil it for those not having seen it but that left me feeling sick and happy but most definitely sick.

Green Street.

It takes a lot to make me wince, but the violence in that film made me sit up and take note.

The meat hook scene in the original Texas Chainsaw massacre.

Can't remember the scene, but probably about half way through 28 Weeks Later - I couldn't watch the rest of the film even though I enjoyed the first one.
