go compare adverts are driving me insane

What is it with these stupid annoying adverts?
I have to change channels the second they come on

and now i hear them on the radio all the time too! aaaaaaargh!
Someone please make them stop??

I know what you mean. The radio advert is the worst, just not funny at all. I think they want to emulate the successful branding of the Compare the Meerkat but just fail.

Do they fail though? You are talking about them and the company name so in my eyes they have done their job. So many adverts people dont remember the product just the advert whereas you remember both for them so they have worked.

Exactly. In fact, the only comparison site that sticks in my mind is moneysupermarket.com

The rest don't even come into my head and I once tried CompareTheMarket which was total crap.

+1 I remember the Go Compare name every time I need to compare something online and then also remember the ad is annoying and st and use another site.

Sonic Branding- use of sounds or songs to remind you of certain brands- can be very effective is done correctly and unobtrusively i.e Intel Chips.

I flatly refuse to use Go Compare solely because of that advert.
