Can't believe there isn't a thread yet.

So what did we think of the scoody?

Looked like lots of good worthwhile work to me, only to be ruined with those silly signed viper stripes.

And is the new owner a PH'er?

I enjoyed it. Right up until they put those stupid stripes on it. Really thought it runied it.

I still think the best one so far was last weeks defender, it looked a bag of scensoredt when Brewer bought and looked fantastic at the end.

I think I'm going to be in a minority, but I thought it looked perfectly nice in standard spec as bought by Mikey boy.

I thought the point of Wheeler Dealers was to take "tired old classics and give them a new lease of life".

If so then I didn't see the point in the scooby episode. Sure, if they'd taken a really tired old classic shape and sorted out the mechanicals, suspension, interior and bodywork then great.

Last night was sort the clutch, then enhance the car needlessly with modifications (and this comes from someone who used to own a slightly modified scooby).

They should have started with a car that needed more work and sorted it but leave it standard.

Apart from replacing the clutch, which was needed as it was knackered, it was quite a boring episode.

I'm not sure but could they not have found an STi for around £4.5K to £5K and had more power as standard also with the wheels and brakes already fitted and just do cosmetic touches??? I may be wrong as it's a long time since I was involved with Impreza's.

I've always been told that modifications reduce the price of the car, certainly what you hear from car dealers. Maybe that fat car dealer bloke is going to pimp rides like exhibit from now on.

I thought it a tad ironic that when initially looking for a car he was saying, "it's hard to find to find one that hasn't been played around or messed with" then goes and does exactly that to his!

Those stripes were awful too.
