Indeed, I'm watching with my Dad, I can't believe some of the st people used to laugh at! That and the fact that the cast were not amused by being branded a children's program! Well don't make crap low brow childish humour then!

Allegedly some people laugh at 'The Office', never understood that but the Goodies were of their time and still amuse me now.

Goodies were brilliant! unfortunately they won't be back though. During a radio interview last week they said that new health and safety rulings wouldn't even allow them to ride their 3-seater bike! frown

Don't think it would ever be the same anyway. Remember the new Red Dwarf? Awful.

Well I was reminded at how bloody brilliant they were.

I suspect those complaining have been brought up on a different type of TV to us 50yr olds!

A bit of a thread resurrection but thought this might be of interest to the Goodies lovers.

Our company has taken loan of a bike, bought from the BBC by a private individual, that was one of the bikes used for the Goodies. It will be present when Bill Oddie hosts one of our charity events at Lords in aid of raising funds for saving the Rhino.

As you can see, this particular bike has been altered a few times since its heyday. The bike is reputed to be the one that was used for the trek across Africa and portrayed in the book Three men on a bike.

Does anybody know how many bikes they had, and where the others are?

sorry about the quality....crap camera!

Erm isn’t "The Office" a documentary? . . . . . it’s as funny as Russell Brand!
