Personally... I love the film, can watch it over and over... (TVR's Halle Berry's buns and computer's what's not to like IMHO), but apparently it was voted one of the worst movies of the year.

Just watching on Channel 5....

Yep, definitely a marmite movie, but then i think a lot of hugh jackmans movies are like that. I like both swordfish and van helsing, mrs slopes cant stand them

She likes australia, and i think its a big pile of poo

The only reason the x men films are watchable, is due to the other characters in them, even the wolverine evolution type thing, it was only watchable because of ryan reynolds and liev shcriber

It's nothing more than something incredibly dull with some tits, a TVR and some pathetic attempts at computing. It couldn't be more like PH if it tried biggrin

Rubbish film though.

I liked it but I tend to over analyse films and the many flaws and improbabilities left me a bit 'meh'

the scene where jackman's hacking into the mainframe is hilarious from a programming point of view

they had to "visualise" the hacking rather than just have programming codes running so american audiences could see he was hacking as such.

I've only ever seen the jugs scenes, and never really figured them to be that great.

So all its got left going for it is a TVR. I got my fill of them walking by the factory every day on my way to school cloud9

I watch it for the TVR ("My uncle's got one just like that") and the computer set-up. Don't find Halle Berry attractive in the slightest.

it's a switch your brain off movie that works pretty well imho apart from jackman as a computer nerd / freak...i don't think so.

it does have the always excellent Don Ceadle in it though

That scene is awesome on a decent surround system - A fellow PHer users that scene to demo his Linn system to people hehe

Overall I like it - its an enjoyable brain-out film, and the world needs its fair share of those. Anyone mistaking it for high-brow cinema is in need of some serious help but it's not like they took aim at "Citizen Kane" with it!
