Should be interesting on here given some of the aversion to popular culture
What makes you instantly flick to another station on the radio as soon as it comes on?
For me:
- Chris f
king Moyles
- Beyonce (dont really hate her music, think this one is more born of finding her an utter t
t of a person)
- The TingTings

Boy George
Ken Bruce
Jason Donovan
Edited to add, we did quite a lot of work last year in the R1 studios and I was told specifically not to look at Moyles (we worked at various times of the day and he would be in his studio at the time) as he takes great pleasure in belittling anybody he can. The members of staff we were with also thought he was a jumped up a
hole. Personally I think he's a fat t
t who should just f
k off.
I still have the Live Lounge and Studio signs I liberated after the job

I like Chris Moyles, it's my favourite daytime radio show
I Will not listen to Scott Mills.
I kind of agree with this one, although I do find Chris Moyles to be annoying at times due to his self-centered nature.I Will not listen to Scott Mills.
Scott Mills does get on my nerves though. Particularly when he refers to people being 'off of' everything (eg. referring to a caller as 'Dave off of Guildford', like everyone has featured on a programme of some kind). As if the dumbing down of the English language isn't bad enough these days.
I'm with you on Moyles - I cannot understand how being a loudmouthed, fat "lad" is meant to be big and clever at all - however I'm clearly wrong as many millions tune into him.
Same goes for Jeremy Vine and his Daily Mail listeners - aaaaargh!
Not too keen on Steve Wright either - I have a feeling that he's not the Mister Nice Guy he tries to portray and the veneer is very thin...

The Archers. Radio 4 is otherwise informative, intelligent and often very funny, and yet the tale of ooo-arrrring country bumpkins and their godawful theme tune gets my goat on a daily basis.
The advert breaks on XFM that are on longer than the songs/news/gig info.
The fawning, dribbling, toe-sucking worship of Joe Bonamassa on Planet Rock. OK, so they 'discovered' him and gave the whiny-voiced PITA his own show, but they way the other presenters laud him as though he's some kind of godsent equal to Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple is just plain annoying.
Pretty much anything on Radio 1.
That point when Jazz FM slides into 'restaurant background music' mode just when you get back from work and fancy some perky Latino stuff.

Bizarrely I used to listen in every morning until about 2 years ago when suddenly every single thing about him and the show made me want to slit his throat.Sour Kraut said:
