Being a big fan of the original, I went to the flicks to see the new movie, expecting it to be pants.

I really enjoyed it, and in the credits at the end Dirk Benedict and Dwight Shulcz were credited, so, thinking I must have blinked at that part, I ordered the DVD. Having watched that 3 times and found the parts on youtube, its been cut out.

But why, the cameos work well, anyone shed any light on this?

Having seen the advert, I regret I am unable to even shed any light on the reason why anyone would go and watch this film.

I think they cameo in the extended version only. It's on the BluRay disc, not the DVD.

Because it's a great fun movie.

To my mind it's the first film that's managed to tread the line between tongue in cheek, self deprecation and action with any degree of success in years.

I was really dubious about it before seeing it but have watched it 3 or 4 times now.
