Personally i love top gear, scripted , set up , stupid tasks that always end up as close as a shave , great entertainment , funny , fantastic cars & a fantastic earner for the bbc worldwide ,

Why does this show grate so many people on here , you know what the show is all about so why do you watch it ?

it's basically the same week in week out yet you all still watch it , why ?

As i said above i love the show & i love the chemistry & banter between ,JC, Hammond & slow & it's just so obvious that they are never in as much doo doo as made out because they are being filmed , in HD even

I know i will receive a barrage of abuse from the more sophisticated television critics on here , but i don't give a ste, it's about being entertained IMHO

i really hope top gear goes from strength to strength & continues to be one of my favourite programmes on telly , 5th gear on channel 5 if you want to see a vauxhall corsa put through it's paces with dull presentation

I think that what ordinary people love about the show is that the guys doing the tasks & driving the cars are pretty much ordinary chaps that have a passion for cars that the average joe can relate to ,

please all you haters , chill , relax & enjoy

It may sound harsh, but it was his own fault. Holding on to a tow rope just as it goes tight is the stuff youtube "FAIL" videos are made of.

Well said that man.

I'm not a regular user of the site but have noticed TG always gets a grilling which, a lot of the time, seems quite harsh.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the same people would be moaning if they stopped making it.
