Read the book then watch the film - you'll realise what a missed opportunity the film was.
Too true. The whole point of the book was utterly lost and typicaly hollywood took the name of the book and threw out everything else. Why do they bother.

What a total pile of cack that film is.
A pretty substantial plot hole. (trap goes off, set by whom?)
Some totally unrealistic character realisation (as people have already mentioned it, the dog, he kills it singing along to a specific CD, the very next day he plays the CD to somebody who'd never heard it wihtout trace of emotion of the previous days goings on, which is pretty pathetic considering what it made him do!)
And an ending that didn't really make sense!
Other than that, top notch!

The film is ok.. and there is nothing else on!
Wait 29 minutes and you'll have Babylon A.D. to enjoy.... (I've really gotta lay off the crack)(On the other hand, I seriously doubt it, but for some reason I'm staying up late to watch it even though i've got an early start in the morning. Like I say, I must be high or drunk or something)

There were quite a few, but that wasn't one of them IMO. The lead "sick person" set the trap. He copied what Robert Neville had done to his (the lead sick person's) Mrs.A pretty substantial plot hole. (trap goes off, set by whom?)...
It was an OK film. Prefer the 28 series.
i was hoping they'd have the balls to show the alternative ending which at least gets close to the point of the book, but no...
