How Drugs Work

Just watching the second one of these - Ecstasy. The one about Cannabis was very interesting.

I have a question though about the filming... clearly the journalists and film crews are mixing with users, and particularly following ecstasy users before they're going into clubs. How's all that legal and how do these people not now end up in trouble having been on the telly handling and taking these drugs?
