I missed Motorway Cops last week but caught up on Iplayer. I assumed it would be on the following week (today) but no sign of it. It seems very irregular and it also seems to be on later slots these days. Anyone out there that can break the code?

Seems totally random, they just show it whenever they have nothing else to put on. Same with Car's Cops and Criminals. I'm still annoyed about missing that last year and not been able to download from anywhere.

It's on 9PM Weds this week, thought I'd post here rather than making another thread. No idea if it's a repeat.

Is it a repeat? Doesn't say so in my TV & Sat mag. Not that it's always right but, think the last couple of programmes have been new. smile

ETA: Having watched the programme, again wink I now concur with Kieron; 'tis a repeat.

It's like when they are stopped for illegally entering the country, then given a card with the address of where they should go to be looked at/deported. Surprise, surprise, when they never turn up at said address!

After pulling a motorist, and finding he had no insurance, the police officers let the motorist phone his broker to take cover out.Cover was refused by the broker as the motorist's credit car was maxed out. Police then impounded the car. Surely this cannot be right, or did I miss something?
Thanks, Mike.

i think the cops were gonna let him sort out insurance so he could continue driving the car and not get it impounded, very fair of them i thought. They would have still done him for the original offence of driving without insurance

The charge for no insurance would still stand. They were just trying to save his vehicle from being towed to the pound.

ETA: Sorry, didn't see your post, CJ.

The Coloured chap from London who did not like "thick" brummies was the funniest thing I had seen in ages.... Agree with everything above... Particularly the "Lenny Henry" sketch comments biggrin

Watched this programme this evening on iplayer from the comfort of the USA.

Have to say the restraint and professionalism of the British police is a wonder to behold.

They really are the cream of the crop compared to the numpties I see here in the US and those I've experienced in Europe (Germany and NL excepted).

I cringed a bit at the old birds doing the class 1 driving- no reflection on them at all but wonder why the need to show two women doing the job. A case of political correctness I feel although I'd like to stress that doesn't reflect on the standard they have achieved- don't care what anyone says having been on the inside and seen how it works to be a class one driver takes a lot of effort and a high standard of achievement. Just pisses me off that the BBC just 'happens' to find two female drivers to follow ie 2 in a thousand.

Possibly that makes me a candidate for sacking a la keys and grey.............

Still keep up the good work girls.....still amazes me that the uninsured prelude driver got all that time to whine, spit and moan however.....
