...with Statham, restoring an old jag and killing people together with amazing Ben Foster. Anyone seen it?
I thought it's going to be ste, but IMBD rated it at 8.2 and couple of my friends said it was brilliant action film.

So what is it? Worth a watch?

I think this is a remake of the Charles Bronson film with Jan Michael Vincent. I saw the original many moons ago, I am tempted to see it on DVD but I won't bother to see it at a cinema

It is the remake of the 1972 ish film which I thought was good when I saw it at the cinema but having seen it years later it wasn't really as good as I had remembered.

I saw an advert that said it is on from the 28th at the cinema. Should be on R1 DVD soon enough.

Statham is absolutely awful. I'm staggered that he is now considered 'a' list. I saw a film called the One with jet li and statham a few years ago. Statham couldn't decide if his accent in this film was sarf london or new yoik. It was truly so bad that I'm surprised he was considered for any other roles after that, I have seen actors in amateur productions turn in superior performances. Yet he was largely THE co star of the expendables so what do I know.

I've just watched a trailer for it, I don't think I'll bother until it's on freebie TV, plus I bet they both die at the end.

don't watch expendables, cringe making acting taking itself far too seriously for a pony effort. At least Statham's efforts in Crank 1/2 are supposed to be funny.

Also The Rock, but he doesn't seem interested.

Both are pretty much perfect to fill the role of Arnie / Stallone and provide that 80s gungo ho action cheesefest.

Wahlberg isn't too bad either, 'Shooter' was a pretty decent brain out film.

Burgundy MK1 E-type.
I just went out of the cinema and have to say it's not terribly cool action film. 6/10 on my scale.
Statham really is awful.

Fair point. Oh, and the expendables was great, if you can suspend your belief in whats real for a bit, and just enjoy the blood and gore, then its great, but from an acting standpoint, there wasnt much to go on to be fair
