He came to 'fire' a few chimneys for us at a demolition company I worked for many years ago. I asked him if he had insurance (public liability) his answer:

"Nah, I'm Fred Dibnah!"

I believe he did have insurance at one point from what I've read in the biography.
I'm not surprised about that, we passed him quite a few claims for burnt jackets after one particular job in Chorley (public idiots standing too close) Don't know if he paid them, but I'll wager it made him think!
