Apprentice USA - It's back!

I quite like the extra twist but not sure about Trump's 'other helper' she didn't have a lot to say.
Next weeks winner is exempt from the week afters task, how is that going to work? or have I got it wrong, I did fall asleep towards the end so I'm going to have to find out what happened on i-player.

I meant to make a thread for this when it started last night. I don't like it as much as I like the UK version, especially since any time Trump speaks he has to shout, but it's still good to watch.
The team leader of the winning team isn't exempt from the following task, but they are the team leader every week until they lose, which could be interesting.
It's also weird that the season currently being shown here was filmed in the summer of 2006 and broadcasted in the USA in early 2007! So avoid the internet if you don't want to know who the winner is.

I think that's 2 series ago? We have a new celeb apprentice starting here in a couple of weeks. Contestants include Meat Loaf, David Cassidy, La Toya Jackson, Jose Canseco and Dionne Warwick. That will be series 11, of which 4 have been "Celebrity", so the last non celeb US Apprentice was series 7.
I'm sure Wikipedia will reveal all, I'm not looking or else I will read too much.
I don't think this 'having a member of the winning team' in the boardroom sat next to El Trumper is working as they don't seem to have much to say.
You couldn't have the losing team camping out in the UK as it is usually pissing down most of the time.

It does look a bit strange after the UK version. I know the US one was first and I watched series 1. It seems to me to have slightly cheap, rushed production - even though it's in LA and Trump is enourmously rich etc. The Sugar version seems more professional to me. Maybe it's just the popularity of the show has gone in opposite directions between the US and UK? I did enjoy the 2 episodes I saw yesterday though.
I like the idea of the tent for the losing team. Maybe they could park a caravan outside the house in the UK version - perhaps in the front garden with an old washing machine and a bag of cement that's gone hard.
