Anyone else watching this? I usually like something with a bit more action but this pretty good. FX channel are showing the early series from the early 90s, looks more like the 70s though in the show. The later stuff is on Five USA.

I'm hooked.

I've watched it since it first started over here on BBC1 in 1990/1. I never understood why it didn't get a better slot.
Even now, on Sky, it gets relegated to the 11/12pm slot.

I watch SVU and Criminal Intent too but the original will always be the best. Mike Logan FTW!

Thread resurrection

Just watched the first episode of the NEW series (season 21)
Sam Waterson looks ancient Anthony Edwards aged a lot. Cary Lovell too.
No great big introductions no scene setting it works and works well.

I have all the original series and love the old show from about season 3 onwards,
This is like an old friend returning.
