This has been absolutely panned, and I mean really panned, by the TV reviews in the papers, especially The Times.

I think I might give it a go to see if it can possibly be as bad as they say.

I have a feeling it will be.

It certainly seems to have the same cast and costume designers. I think the BBC HR dept got their list of everyone on their books and chucked them in. Half expect to see Barbara Windsor screeching at someone before the end...she better hurry up.

Well, despite their best efforts, my interest is sufficiently piqued to keep watching.

Some truly dire posturing, almost every five minutes. I very nearly gave up after the first two opening scenes. But not too bad overall.

I just watched a bit of starship troopers and it was possibly the worst thing I've seen on tv. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a comedy but the actors seem to be taking it so seriously.

I'll persist with Outcasts, where the acting was at least better than Starship poopers but as mentioned - more land rovers needed.

Pretty shocking acting from all and some truly crummy sets.

I'll probably watch tonight because I want to know what's out there.
